With the substantial support of China Center for Food and Drug International Exchange (CCFDIE), 2022 DIA China Annual Meeting will be held at Suzhou International Expo Center (SIEC) on May 19–22, 2022. The annual meeting is themed by “Innovation Safeguards Health, Cooperation Leads Future”. It continues to focus on the dual trends of internationalization and domestic innovation and the challenges in new drug R&D, exerts itself to conduct clinical value-oriented and patient-centered drug R&D, and cooperates with top experts and colleagues in the field of global drug R&D. Following the principles of “basing in China and adopting a global vision”, it takes a more forward-looking perception and more pragmatic attitude in coping with the three core challenges of regulatory policy innovation, science & technology innovation, and talent innovation. Centering on the full life cycle of drugs, the annual meeting will focus on 13 major thematic areas, including ICH theme day, regulatory science, therapeutic clinical R&D, patient-centered clinical operations, clinical needs & platform model, biostatistics, data science, drug safety and vigilance, and organize more than 100 sub-sessions. The purpose is to help consolidate the foundation of new drug R&D in China, promote high-quality drug innovation, effectively meet the clinical medication needs of Chinese patients, and create an "international", "cooperative", and "innovative" 2022 DIA China Annual Meeting in an all-round way.
